Vegan life: In photos, anecdotes, quotes and more. |
So, sorry for the terrible picture but I made this smoothie up completely on the fly and it was the SHIT. One frozen banana, 3-4 pitted whole dates, a spoonful of Dutch cocoa, and almond milk.
I am just going to take one moment here, and be sincerely grateful for the fact that the most difficult decision I’m facing right now
is whether to have a banana-strawberry or orange julius smoothie for breakfast tomorrow morning.
I mean, that’s pretty rare for me.
I cannot remember where I first saw the recipe for this, but it is, my friends, an ORANGE JULIUS SMOOTHIE. Frozen mangoes, a fresh orange, and almond milk. I can’t express how delicious this is.
Technically this smoothie was nothing special - a frozen banana, frozen strawberries and almond milk. But it was damn good!
Started my day off right today. Beet/carrot juice, Granny Smith apple, raw walnuts. Who needs coffee??
I’m thinking it’s a waffle night. Y’all feel?

Mix all dry ingredients together. Microwave Earth Balance until melted and stir in almond milk and syrup. Add to dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Cook on pancake griddle or waffle iron until lightly colored.
The best visual representation of “No Homo!” in cinematic history.
