So I’m trying to scoop up extra cash cause I’m going to Italy for a study abroad course, and my parents said they’ll pay me if I do all the grocery shopping and cook all the meals in the house.

A beautiful platter of roasted vegetables, courtesy of Sandrina’s in Bucerias. I subbed hummus for the feta dip that was supposed to come with the dish. It was perfect!
While visiting beautiful Las Vegas, we went to PuraVida Vegas, Vegas’ only certified all-vegan restaurant. WOW. What a great place this was! Our server was fantastic (we were a large party for their relatively small place) and the food was amazing. My favourite part was the framed adoption certificates on the wall for three adopted Turkeys. Beautiful!
I don’t get to eat out at vegan places a lot, so I kind of went nuts and ate off of everyone’s plates, because I didn’t want to miss anything. We had: root vegetable soup, fresh vegetable salad with edible flowers, a puff pastry filled with vegan sausage and covered in the most heavenly vegan cheese sauce, grilled cheese sandwich, tofu and black bean burrito, chocolate pancakes with bananas, pumpkin spice cupcake, carrot cake, and decadent chocolate cake. It may have been a good thing this restaurant wasn’t right on the strip, otherwise I wouldn’t have left.
The best visual representation of “No Homo!” in cinematic history.
